I'm not even going to count getting dressed (never fear, I DID get dressed).
- Got supper ready to pop into the oven.
- Made chicken salad.
- Packed my lunch.
- Washed three loads of laundry.
- Folded laundry.
- Packed my laptop.
- Got a card ready to mail (and mailed it).
- Ate breakfast.
- Brushed my teeth.
- Washed the dishes.
- Read the news online.
- Watched a video.
- Remembered to switch my money and ID from the camera bag to my wallet.
- Took some photos.
- Loaded the sheets and blankets I washed into the van to return to the Red Cross.
- Cut some stuff with an X-acto Knife for a craft.
- Played with the dog.
- Did two Sudoku puzzles.
- Filled the gas tank.
- Drove to the Red Cross.
And then I got really busy! Once I leave here, I'll rush home, put supper in the oven, set some aside for Brett and take the rest with me to our end of summer barbershop chorus potluck. It's no wonder I'm always so tired when I go to bed on Monday night.
What did you do this morning?

I picked grapes, washed them, boiled them, and invented a deal so I could hang them in a pillowcase to drip. Worked on my jigsaw puzzle, read some more of my book. Talked to my mom, took her dog for a walk, cut back the peony bushes, pulled weeds, and now I'm checking FB. I should do more, but I don't want to. Think I'll have another cup of coffee instead.
Yikes -- nowhere nearly that much!
Be thankful you can remember all those details.
I folded a load of laundry. Packed my lunch and went to work. Once there I got water bottles ready, rounded up some mice, got ice and liquid nitrogen, and drew up anesthesia. As soon as the compound was delivered I was chained to the bench where I worked on mice from 7:50 to 11:59 when I took a lunch break (briefly).
Today I didn't have to work until evening, so I went to the bank to cash a check, I put gas into the car, I went to the Agape Christian Thrift store (didn't end up finding anything to buy this time), and then the thunder started rumbling loud and close. I went home to check the weather channel online because I had lunch plans with some ladies, but the thunderstorm came on so strong that I opted out to be safe. I did text them so they knew. I made lunch at home and allowed myself some time online. Once my son was home, I spent time with him until I had to change for work. I took out the trash as I walked to the car, and that was my Monday. Oh yeah, somewhere in there I also answered a couple emails, talked to my mother on the phone, cooked some meatballs for dinner, and did my leg lifts.
The part of my day that made me smile, however, was when I got your thank you card in the mail. What a nice surprise, and you are most welcome. You are so correct in all you wrote inside, how it's nice that friendships can extend beyond the boundaries of Xanga itself, and will carry on.
I don't even know where to begin.
Only women are able to do so many things in so little time ! I am exhausted !!

I love that u made your list for all many things u do. I make and always have-made lists to recall the jobs and errands of the day. sometimes we need to list each and everything we do. this is for days when we feel as if we haven't done much---when actually we have really rocked the day!As women we multi task so well that we discount many things we do each day! I would encourage women to do exactly as you did, I believe they shall b surprised at the end of the day to discover such a long list!thank you, a
Stopped reading at #10. After a nap, I'll finish it off!
