Dear Mr. Romney,
I'm sure you're wondering what happened. I can help you with that. Here's what happened: Women who tended to vote for Republican candidates, conservative policies and family value issues have not forgotten your and many other Republicans' demeaning comments about women and their place in society over the past two years. You may have finally kind of learned to keep your mouth mostly shut about women, but only after the damage was done. If there's one thing you should know about women, it's that we will hold onto an injury as long as necessary and punish you for it when the time is right. I'm pretty sure you have just experienced the long memories of millions of angry women who view you as nothing more than a Tea Party bimboy.
Oh, and you threatened Big Bird; I'm sure that didn't help.
I hope you've learned your lesson.
Love, saintvi

that second photo is great
Haha. This was really amusing and the only post that I was able to read from start to finish about the election!
dang - I didn't know he'd threatened Big Bird
Well played, ma'am. =) I love that first photo.
you are SUCH a comedienne!!! Thanks for the laugh!
Great post. It won't take my rec though.
I have been thinking for a while that Romney was making an awful lot of stupid comments and mistakes in the form of planned comments for me to believe that he actually wanted to win.
Therefore, I have to believe that he is probably happy to have not won. It's been a crazy 24 hours. Romney basically sealed the Obama victory when he threatened Big Bird. Hell He should feel lucky that he didn't make a joke about Miss Piggy and Kermit being a couple. That would have been insane.
Leave Big Bird out of it. He's always been a kind and considerate pedestrian fowl.

It's only a human rights issue if you consider women human.
Something we can actually thank that nonsense for? Women went to vote in record numbers, and that's always been an issue that more men vote than women.
Yes, well said!
I could not have said it better Melinda. It's time for Republicans to wake up and realize it's not the 1950s anymore. We are women, hear us roar!
Awesome Blog, i totally agree.. and i love the second picture Lol
I think he lost any credibility with (a) his "trickle down economics" plan, (b) his main campaign contributors being ALL the big banks and (c-d-e-f-g.....) his claim that Israel was Syria's route to the sea.....
Well put! I hope he reads this.
I agree with @Ampbreia - I wish he read this
Heh. So true. No self-respecting woman would have endorsed an anti-choice male who thinks a woman's place is barefoot and pregnant.
I thought you were Republican!
Hell hath no fury like a woman told that rape is God's will.
Another factor is: During the 2000 election Bush won the states with hard working, tax paying family raising people. That was 60%. Gore won the 40% that needed the government for their maintenance. This year 52% of the population rely on the government for their well beig. That number is only going to increase because Latino's and blacks are having kids in higher numbers than the white population. Those minorities rely o government and thus vote for the democratic party. 99% black voters vote for Obama, Latino's a 2 to 1 margin for Obama, women 51% to 41%, voters under 35, 51 to 43%. With those percentages a republican may never win the Presidency again , what we have to look forward to is the USA becoming like Greece, or Mexico. At some point in time the tax payers cannot support the increasing number of non tax payers
@TexasTidbits - The Catholic and Mormon whites are reproducing in numbers but large families face tremendous debt problems not just because of their race. Did you know the United States used to have open immigration for all those white races and Australia continues to be a White mecca Nation.
So are you one of those folks who wished for the good ole days? Well they are gone and will not come back, however educated women will reduce the size of their families push for education and stop bemoaning the fact that this nation will become like Greece. BTW Mexico is doing pretty well ironically compared to screwed by the bankers, Greece.
Well, that's how he won the presidential candidate race for GOP. But yeah, he honestly just came off as an ass to women and homosexuals. At least Paul Ryan was more moderate and actually treated us as if we're human and respected our rights. We're not mindless idiots as much as Romney would like to think.
@PPhilip - I wish for the days where the majority paid taxes, worked, educated their children and cared about their country rather than sitting around drawing welfare, trading their food stamps for crack, were responsible for their actions, spoke English , Unfortunately free abortions and birth control hasn't helped decrease the population
Bravo!!! Amen, amen. Well said... and they say elephants have long memories. They ain't got nuthin' on women!
