Hi, I'm your weak brother in Christ, and this picture makes me want to go download some 300 MB of porn and wank myself until my penis bleeds. @GreekPhysique - I would gently inform you that this is a painting by Will Cotton, whose works hang in art galleries around the world. This particular painting is titled "Ice Cream Cavern" and is part of the Seavest Collection of Contemporary Realism.
Would you have left the same comment if I'd posted a photo of the Sistine Chapel ceiling or the statue of David or the Venus de Milo?

you can guess, I'm quietly getting at the original argument through my
analogy. You can certainly make the case that I'm a little irrational.
That it's weird and creepy that just the mention of porn, plus a
woman's mostly-covered butt would elicit such a response in me. That
really, other, older works like the Sistine chapel or David are
similarly edgy, although I'd gently point out that those are sculpture,
not photo-realistic, and those are well-known artworks, unlike this one.
But...I as a man might have triggers that you as a woman may not
understand. Thanks for the information, but it makes no difference to
me what the source is; in my hypothetical (thank God) situation, it still has erotic power for me because it
portrays a woman's naked body. Do you bear any responsibility to
protect me, as me being your brother in Christ? I'm just putting it out
there; a thought.
Well, I looked at that and went "Who wants to roll around in ice cream" and then I laughed because everyone does need to chill out. Maybe rolling around in ice cream would put people in a better mood around here. :0)
@GreekPhysique - You say in your hypothetical argument that I, as a woman, may not understand your "triggers" (a word I'm beginning to consider vastly overused), and yet I'm responsible to protect you from them. No. This is just an innocuous painting and I feel no more responsibility for your reaction to it than you apparently do for the images you created with the words "wank myself until my penis bleeds."
